Consider the following topics when preparing to make a preliminary list of universities/colleges that you might apply to:
Location (Country/Region/Dept. or State; City, Distance from a city) Majors and academic programs (Which majors are offered, which courses are offered/required; Electives; Core requisites; individualized majors; double majors; 2:3, 3:2 engineering, etc.)
Undergraduate Population Size of freshman and undergraduate class
Size of classes Gender (Coed or single-sex)
Number of students from out-of-state International Student Body
Cost (Financial Aid--Scholarships) Housing--At home; On Campus, Single-sex or Coed Dorms; Off campus apartment
