Los 60 años de nuestra institución, 1947 – 2007, marcan
el comienzo de una nueva era. En esta memorable fecha se
crea el “Endowment Fund”, Fondo de Desarrollo, que
permite garantizar los recursos necesarios para ejecutar
los proyectos trazados en el Plan Maestro, enriqueciendo
la labor educativa del Colegio Bolívar.
Nuestro propósito como comunidad es ofrecer a nuestros
estudiantes las mejores prácticas educativas que les
permitan desarrollarse como personas y alcanzar la
excelencia académica. Debemos continuar los esfuerzos de
las generaciones anteriores y asegurar el crecimiento de
la institución para que perdure y responda a las
necesidades futuras. |
The 60 year anniversary of Colegio Bolivar celebrates
the beginning of a new era. This memorable date also
marks the establishment of the Colegio Bolivar Endowment
Fund which will allow us to ensure the continued growth
of our educational community according to our Long Range
and School Improvement Plans.
Our objective is to assure our students the best
education possible with the purpose of helping them
develop as conscientious individuals and achieve
academic excellence. To ensure this responsibility, it
is essential that the efforts of past generations of the
Bolivar community continue in order to meet the needs of
future generations and realize Colegio Bolivar’s mission
well into the 21st century. |

Los recursos del “Endowment Fund” se destinarán para
extender los programas educativos y fortalecer la
infraestructura física y tecnológica, siguiendo el Plan
Maestro del Colegio Bolívar que busca garantizar una
visión estratégica de desarrollo cumpliendo con los más
altos y rigurosos estándares de calidad. Los proyectos
estratégicos a ejecutar en el futuro próximo son: Bloque
de aulas ‘J’ en secundaria; Dale Swall Center (Centro
Cultural): remodelación del auditorio y creación de
nuevos espacios dedicados al programa de bellas artes;
Complejo Deportivo: acondicionamiento de canchas, áreas
especializadas y nuevo gimnasio. |
The establishment of the Endowment Fund will allow to
assure the continued development of our strategic
vision, maintaining and continually enhancing our
physical and technological infrastructure and
educational programs to meet the highest and most
rigorous standards of quality. The following school
improvement plans for facility renovation and
construction are: Secondary classrooms block J; Dale Swall Center, new auditorium and fine art building; and
Physical Education Complex, ongoing improvements to
playing fields, courts, specialty rooms and new
gymnasium. |
