We hope, we laugh, we worry, we cry,

We have some books and other resources on all your countries in the library, both in the stacks and in the reference area.  You can do a keyword and subject search for your topic and put it in quotation marks (e.g. "France", "China"); you should also look at our the specialized encyclopedias and other reference sources.  As well, you should look at Worldbook online.
