La Republica de Colombia es uno de los países mas ricos del mundo en su gran diversidad de flora, fauna, aguas, ríos, océanos y mucho mas. Es tan rico vivir en ella por su gran clima. Es agradable ver siempre verde en sus montañas. Es delicioso conocer su gente la cual es buena, gentil, atenta y con grandes virtudes que no se alcanzaría a escribir.  En Colombia ensañamos Amor y Respeto para así lograr ver los beneficios mas adelante.

We have many, many books and other resources on Colombia in the library, both in the stacks and in the reference room; do a keyword and subject search for your topic, and put it in quotation marks (e.g. "Colombia", "valle"); you should also look at our Colombian encyclopedias and other reference sources.  We do have books on reserve for you in the Reference Room.  As well, you should look at our online resources, including SIRS Researcher, Britannica and Worldbook.

Finally, if you do your own search, you should use Yahoo! first, as it lists topics much more completely and accurately than if you use an open search engine like Google.

SEARCH the National Geographic Magazines from the National Geographic Site
Here you can search all the National Geographic magazines.  Just write in your country and you will get a list of all the magazine articles that use the word.  Check the title of the article and MAKE SURE that the Publisher is
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC magazine.  Then, look at the date of the magazine; we have quite a few for the last 30 years.
