You should also look at specific Colombia Search engines here AND the Banco de la Republica Biblioteca Luis Angel Arango Online.  NOTE: Make sure the name is spelled correctly!

This is a difficult search becuase many of these people are still alive and still working, which means that not much has been written about their lives, especially biographies.  For many, you may need to go to old copies of Semana or El Pais OR even make phone calls.
