Middle School Learning
Resource Program (LRP) GENERAL COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Middle School
Learning Resource Program (MS-LRP) makes part of the
Colegio Bolivar Student Services Department. It is an
alternative program to assist exceptional students sixth -
eighth grade, under the modalities of in-class
differentiated instruction, modified curriculums and
pull-out for the lower end, and Destination Imagination for
the higher.
The MS Learning
Resource Program pursues guiding students with learning
differences through the path of understanding their learning
particularities, and giving them the necessary strategies
and tools in order for them to experience academic and
social success.
The MS Learning
Resource Students learn and understand what learning
requires, and how to have access to it as active and
proactive learners.
LRP OBJECTIVES
GENERAL:
To assist MS students
with learning differences, in order for them to cope with
both academic and social life.
SPECIFIC:
*To assist
our exceptional students’ learning.
*To guide
the students with learning differences through the path of
understanding what learning requires.
*To help
our exceptional students be aware and accept their learning
particularities.
*To provide
the students with strategies and tools that can help them
cope with academic demands.
*To
encourage students with learning differences to be active
and proactive learners.
*To assist
and encourage teachers
in the process of helping our students with
learning differences.
