School Handbook

Article 87 of the General Education Law (Law 115 of 1994) establishes that all educational institutions must have an Educational Community Handbook which is a response to the conditions, necessities and requirements of the educational community within the institution.

The law also establishes, in Article 201, that this handbook be an integral part of the matriculation contract which formalizes the enrollment of the student in the school. Therefore, by signing the matriculation agreement the parents/guardians, and the students themselves accept the complete contents of Colegio Bolivar´s Educational Community Handbook.

This handbook clearly identifies the rights and responsibilities of the student as well as the procedures for their proper application. The Educational Community handbook defines the procedures to resolve individual or group conflicts which occur within the educational community.
