e Commerce & Digital Marketing Manager

Position Purpose:

Help develop and implement e-commerce strategy & plans to work with the e-commerce manager counterpart from the commercial area. Integrate digital in the overall communication strategy for local brands & activities including always-on brand building and IMC campaigns. Work with the regional digital marketing team, local marketing teams, and agencies to plan & implement regional and local digital initiatives for the hub or subsidiary

 Main  responsibilities: 

  • Be the liaison between the regional digital marketing team and local stakeholders to coordinate planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the digital activities (social, online video, display, promotions, search marketing, portal partnerships, newsletters, mobile etc), following the strategy and plans defined for the region.
  • Help the regional digital category managers implement the regional strategy on activities that require local knowledge, like identifying influencers and local talents, for example.
  • Identify opportunities for local digital activities working with the local marketing team and agencies
  • Support the local marketing and media teams with relevant information related to the digital status/maturity of the region to facilitate the decision-making process for local priorities and budget allocation
  • Support the local professional marketing team on identifying opportunities and implementation of the digital activities
  • Communicate Digital Strategies and activities to the E-commerce team and to key Customers
  • Ensure that assets for the e-commerce sites are created for the regular and promotional SKUs, IMCs, new product launches, and consumer promotions (pictures, product information etc), following global guidelines
  • Visit customers with the commercial team to evaluate opportunities to leverage sales in the sites through digital media campaigns (search, display, product listings, sponsorships or any other alternative proposed by the customer)
  • Bring the digital marketing expertise to the discussions with the commercial area and customers to ensure the most effective plans are developed/implemented
  • Interact with Division/Global e-commerce teams to get best practices, guidelines and stay up to date with the trends and global initiatives
  • Work with the regional digital marketing team to develop assets for the online campaigns (banners, rich media, search ads, keywords selection, posts etc)
  • Collaborate with insights and agency teams to measure and report performance of al digital marketing campaigns, assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Recommend program enhancements & plans for continuous improvement. Identify and share learning/digital best practices across the region and global digital team

What you need for this position:

  • BS degree
  • English fluent
  • 3 - 5 years of experience : •Managed brands supported by IMC/digital media
  • Experience with digital fundamentals: developing an integrated communications strategy, websites, search, digital media, CRM/ database marketing, social media, mobile marketing, measurement & optimization
  • Understanding of media fundamentals and how to evaluate communication plans
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Experience working with agencies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Financial Knowledge
