On Saturday the 23rd<\/sup> November, Dr Sonia Ospina and her 20 agroforestry students from UniValle, sede Palmira, came to visit Colegio Bolivar to learn about the two agroforestry systems we have in place and to visit a functioning composting area run by our very own Carlos Castillo \u2013 second right hand man to the garden, after Don Hugo Guererro.<\/p>\n

The twenty students were shown around the plots and in-situ demonstrations were made by myself and Dr Ospina.\u00a0 The presentation by Carlos Castillo was fantastic and a highlight of the visit by the students.<\/p>\n

Students were kindly provided with snacks by the school. Dr Nagy met with the students and Dr Ospina and was keen to emphasize the importance and benefits of this type of experiential and vocational learning for our students.<\/p>\n
