Deeper Learning
Colegio Bolivar has made significant strides towards consolidating Deeper Learning practices in our classrooms. We are continuously finding better ways to foster the transfer of knowledge and competencies, grounded in real-world experiences, helping learners develop fundamental skills, with teachers as activators who nurture a growth mindset and use authentic assessments, as well as promoting student voice and choice. In order to achieve this ambitious and inspiring goal, we rely on a comprehensive, job-embedded, professional learning system. We offer for our staffers multiple opportunities for growth, from mentoring and coaching, to our Professional Learning Community (PLC) and personalized development work, consultancy from experts and sharing among colleagues, and even by providing support for graduate studies and attendance to conferences.
