School Handbook

Article 87 of the General Education Law (Law 115 from 1994) establishes that all educational institutions must have an Educational Community Handbook which responds to the conditions, necessities, and requirements of the educational community within the institution. This handbook is an integral part of the matriculation contract which formalizes the enrollment of a student in the school. Therefore, by signing the matriculation agreement, the parents/guardians, and the students themselves, accept the entirety of Colegio Bolivar´s Educational Community Handbook.

This handbook clearly identifies the rights and responsibilities of the student, as well as the procedures for their proper application. The Educational Community Handbook defines the procedures to resolve individual or group conflicts which occur within the educational community. This manual also includes what is established by Law 1620 from 2013 with regards to the Comité de Convivencia and other norms.

Below you will find a link to access the new Student Handbook which includes all the updates/amendments approved and adopted by the Consejo Directivo.

Child Protection Handbook

As a Colegio Bolivar community, we recognize the responsibility to safeguard the welfare of the children and young people in our care. Child abuse and neglect are violations of a child’s human rights and are obstacles to the child’s physical, emotional, and mental development. As a school community, we have a duty to take strong proactive measures to address this reality. At the following link you will find the School’s Child Protection Policy.
