Play is not a luxury, but a fundamental right (Universal Declaration of Human Rights: The Right to Play); it is a crucial pillar of school and of infancy. Through play, children demonstrate joy, engagement, creativity and, unquestionably, powerful learning.

Principal’s Coffee

In an effort to keep the parents of Preprimary well informed, and to receive valuable feedback, we have organized regular meetings called the Principal’s Coffee. These meetings are held 3 times a year or more, if necessary and are events in which the Principal and Counselors share information about academic programs and socioemotional learning with parents in the different grade levels. The spaces provided allow conversations that lead to a better understanding of children’s and school processes. This is also a great opportunity for parents to get news, information and important dates for the section. The meetings are organized by grade level, but also involve information about events that impact the entire section. 

The agenda for these meetings will always include an opportunity for questions and feedback from parents. These are not events where we will discuss individual concerns of students, they are a time to share information about Preprimary, and work together to help the section progress.
