Commitment and joint responsibility of all stakeholders in our Bolivar Community with a shared vision.
The We Believe in Bolivar project was launched last June within the Strategic Plan framework to faculty members and employees. All new faculty members have been introduced to the Strategic Plan at multiple venues. With the start of the 2015/16 school year, the project was introduced to those parents present at the open houses per section and to the students during the assemblies of each academic section. Subsequently, different meetings have been programmed with all non-teaching all staff members to continue working on the action plan of the We Believe in Bolivar project. The leader team of this project is working to generate commitment and joint responsibility in our Bolivar Community with a shared vision: as Faculty and employees we care about our students, as Students we care for our progress, as Parents and Alumni we become involved with our School.
All community members (faculty, staff, students, and parents) have signed the Commitment to Bolivar Values form, as a public promise to uphold the community’s shared values. Preprimary and Primary parents were the last group who signed the Commitment to Bolivar Values form during the first semester Parent-Teacher conferences. The director, Dr. Joseph Nagy has met with all secondary students to discuss the Strategic Plan and its implications. The director also met with all Primary students to explain the purpose of the Commitment to Bolivar Values form prior the public signing of the document.
The Community Affairs Office is working on the development of series of institutional videos for a wide range of audiences. Each of the new videos will be tailored to specific audiences, each addressing the Strategic Plan. As part of the project, the Fundraising Committee continues to meet to develop strategies and concrete plans to launch the Fundraising Campaign in the second semester of this school year.
