Ancient Egypt
For part of the month of February and March, sixth grade social studies students explored the history and culture of Ancient Egypt.
As part of their journey back in time, students created various artifacts that told a different portion of the story of Egyptian History and explored that artifacts role in understanding life and culture in Ancient Egypt.
In an effort to share what they learned with the larger Bolivar Community, students presented their work in a Museum format for primary students and teachers here at Colegio Bolivar.
The museum presentation provided a great forum for student to student teaching and sharing of ideas through student initiated learning. The artifacts on display here are a result of all of their hard work!
