Danielle, what superlative did you get in high school?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D) I was voted \u201cmost likely to be out of dress code.\u201d How about you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A) \u201cMeanest\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D) Well, I think we\u2019ve both changed a lot since high school. (If you think I dress terribly or that Arnie\u2019s really mean, please don\u2019t tell us) That shows that who people are in high school or how they are perceived doesn\u2019t always stick. But nevertheless, we give you the superlatives of the class of 2023:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our new Bolivar mission statement emphasizes the crucial role creativity plays in the learning process and indeed in life. The following students were the most likely to inspire their teachers with their creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Isabela Figueredo<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Arantza Arizpe (give them a chance to do something artsy and they\u2019ll hit it out of the park)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Alyne Corkidi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Alejandra Camacho<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you all made the move from H block to I block when you became seniors, I felt like I hardly saw most of you. However, a few friendly faces always passed by my classroom and made a point to check in and say hello. So you can imagine that many of my first impressions of you were unique\u2026 these next students win the award of having the funniest zoom etiquette:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; It didn\u2019t seem to matter what time of day it was, Jeronimo Garcia always signed onto a class in a dark room, with a hood on, and the glow of the computer screen dimly illuminating his profile. It was like watching the transformation of Anikan Skywalker to Darth Vader in real-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Alberto Ca\u00f1\u00f3n (video on)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Camilo Raga (golf course\u2026maybe loop in with Caicedo?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Joaqu\u00edn Caicedo (backgrounds)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colegiobolivar.edu.co\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/ING_7411-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19251\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This next group took up part-time residence in my classroom last year during break times. Therefore, they are the students most likely to dramatically quit their jobs, pack a bag, and travel the world as a digital nomad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most likely to talk a police officer out of giving them a fine. They all contributed to the community in a meaningful way and exemplified the Bolivar value of social commitment. Introducing a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community here at Colegio Bolivar took ambition, courage, and perseverance. For this, they are the students deemed the most inspiring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best negotiators (MUN)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Nicol\u00e1s Ossma<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Mart\u00edn Rojas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Natan Kadoch<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my classes, we had many discussions regarding controversial topics. In these conversations, things sometimes got heated and tense, and when that happened, there were a few students who impressed me over and over again with their ability to remain calm, collected, and rational. They made people feel heard while also tactfully expressing themselves. Their ability to remain true to themselves exemplifies the Bolivar value of integrity, which is represented by a whale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On our website, it says the whale is \u201can indispensable animal, which silently helps maintain the balance of our planetary ecosystem.\u201dIn light of their unwavering integrity, this group is the most likely to have been a whale in a past life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Isabela Mej\u00eda<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Laura Bustamante<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Sof\u00eda Ram\u00edrez<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This list of seniors is the most likely to be our therapist in the not-too-distant future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psychology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Luisa Buitrago (Pam)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Sof\u00eda Villalobos<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Isabela Hurtado<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Ana Sof\u00eda Chala<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Juliana Velasco<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Dana Lukauskis<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Mar\u00eda Camila Vargas<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Sof\u00eda Besalel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a 10th-grade advisory after returning from Christmas vacation, I asked students to tell two truths and 1 lie about what they did over the break. In her list, Dani Gonzalez listed \u201cI went swimming in the pool\u201d as one of her options. That seemed probable to me, so I guessed that. Everyone immediately started laughing and said she was like a cat, she hated the pool. So the least likely to be found swimming in the pool is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u25cf&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Daniela Gonz\u00e1lez<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The great thing about these big changes is that you don\u2019t have to be who you were for the last 12 years. You have this opportunity now to become nicer or start to dress better, for example. We are always developing, which doesn\u2019t stop after high school or college. We\u2019re in this constant state of improvement and refining &#8211; emphasizing our good qualities and working on our not-so-great ones.
