We proudly congratulate all our participating students, especially our first-place winners in Category C:<\/strong> Nohella B\u00f6hmner and Isaac Ord\u00f3\u00f1ez<\/strong>, as well as our third-place winners in Category B:<\/strong> Antonia L\u00f3pez and Ger\u00f3nimo Moreno.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A big round of applause also goes to our dedicated teachers, whose encouragement and support inspire our students to take part in these enriching initiatives!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our primary school robotics students participated in the BeeBot Challenge held at Colegio La Colina on March 2, achieving outstanding results by securing first place in Category C (ages 9 to 13) and third place in Category B (ages 7 and 8).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The BeeBot Challenge is a robotics competition designed for young students, encouraging them to develop problem-solving, coding, and teamwork skills in an engaging and interactive way. This experience helps strengthen essential 21st-century skills such as logical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Skills Developed in the BeeBot Challenge<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the BeeBot Challenge, our students demonstrated and strengthened essential computational thinking skills, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Sequencing:<\/strong> Students had to use a sequence of commands to guide the Bee-Bot to its destination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Problem-Solving:<\/strong> They applied their knowledge of directions and turns to successfully complete the challenge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Planning:<\/strong> Before coding, students carefully planned their sequence of commands to ensure accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Debugging:<\/strong> If the Bee-Bot did not reach its intended destination, students tested and refined their code to correct errors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    This experience allowed them to enhance their logical thinking, adaptability, and collaboration while having fun with robotics!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
