{"id":35034,"date":"2025-10-16T18:10:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-16T18:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/colegiobolivar.edu.co\/website\/biodiversity-in-words-pollinators-and-creative-literacy-project\/"},"modified":"2025-10-16T18:10:43","modified_gmt":"2025-10-16T18:10:43","slug":"biodiversity-in-words-pollinators-and-creative-literacy-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colegiobolivar.edu.co\/website\/biodiversity-in-words-pollinators-and-creative-literacy-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Biodiversity in Words: Pollinators and Creative Literacy Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Biodiversity is a topic that second-grade students are currently exploring through creative and educational literacy practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process begins with <strong>reading illustrated nonfiction books and stories<\/strong> that highlight the importance of the diversity of life on our planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, students are <strong>assigned a specific habitat in Colombia<\/strong>, which they must <strong>research and explore in depth<\/strong>. As part of this activity, they are encouraged to write their own book, including information about all the organisms that interact within that habitat\u2014such as <strong>predators, herbivores, and primary producers<\/strong>. Esto lo complementar\u00e1n con una visita al Jard\u00edn Bot\u00e1nico de Cali, donde los estudiantes podr\u00e1n reconocer las diferentes caracter\u00edsticas de los ecosistemas, sus semejanzas y diferencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"20858\" src=\"https:\/\/www.colegiobolivar.edu.co\/website\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/IMG_20240311_131337-1-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20858\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante este proceso, se hace especial \u00e9nfasis en el tema de los polinizadores, explorando juntos la vida de abejas, mariposas, p\u00e1jaros y otros que prestan un servicio ecosist\u00e9mico imprescindible, que garantiza la multiplicaci\u00f3n de la flora y hace posible la diversidad gen\u00e9tica que sostiene la vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ni\u00f1os consignar\u00e1n todas estas experiencias y aprendizajes en un libro de su propia producci\u00f3n, que luego expondr\u00e1n a compa\u00f1eros del grado 1\u00ba, compartiendo las lecciones aprendidas sobre el compromiso que tenemos cada uno de nosotros frente al cuidado de los ecosistemas y de los polinizadores como principales garantes de la reproducci\u00f3n vegetal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de estas pr\u00e1cticas de lectoescritura basadas en la biodiversidad, los ni\u00f1os desarrollan habilidades de comprensi\u00f3n lectora, expresi\u00f3n escrita y aprecio por la incre\u00edble variedad de vida en nuestra regi\u00f3n. \u00a1Acompa\u00f1emos a nuestros ni\u00f1os a explorar nuestros ecosistemas a trav\u00e9s de la lectura y la escritura!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Biodiversity is a topic that second-grade students are currently exploring through creative and educational literacy practices.
