The School, advancing in its commitment to innovation<\/a>, renovated the sixth-grade classrooms in Block J with a comprehensive transformation that included flexible furniture, inspiring murals, and ORBYS TOUCH Series 9 Pro interactive screens. This redesign marks the starting point of an initiative to modernize all School spaces with versatile environments and state-of-the-art technology. Today, we have ten screens \u2014 five in Middle School (sixth grade) and five in High School.<\/p>\n\n

The first goal is to foster an innovative mindset in our students and teachers.<\/strong> For this reason, a group of pioneering teachers recently received online training from Spain and is now exploring the new possibilities offered by the interactive screens, thus modeling for students openness to change and continuous learning through this technological innovation.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

With the new screens, students can explore 3D models to better understand complex concepts, participate in clear and stable videoconferences that connect the classroom with the world, and enjoy 4K-quality videos that bring content to life. In addition, teachers and teams can install all the applications they need, always keeping them at hand to enrich their lessons.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Collaboration is also strengthened: multiple devices can connect and share in real time, fostering teamwork and active participation. All of this takes place in a seamless environment\u2014wireless, interruption-free, and with a clear commitment to sustainability, thanks to low energy consumption and the absence of heat emissions from the previous equipment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This project has come to transform the way our students learn and experience School life. Led by the Innovation team<\/a>, this classroom renovation is only the beginning of an ambitious vision for the future: for the entire School to have modern, flexible classrooms equipped with top-level technology.<\/p>\n

The Block J classrooms were redesigned to inspire: the murals not only beautify the space, but also strengthen the sense of belonging, stimulate deeper learning, and create a welcoming environment for students and teachers. The tables, designed for two students but easy to join into groups of four, promote genuine collaboration, one of the core competencies of Deeper Learning.<\/p>\n

To make this possible, the Innovation team researched and visited national and international benchmarks including ICESI University, the Universidad Aut\u00f3noma, the German School, ASFM in Monterrey, GI School in Armenia, and the Carvajal and Milpa showrooms in Cali\u2014taking the best of each experience and adapting it to the School\u2019s needs. The result: flexible, interactive, and welcoming classrooms, designed so that learning becomes more dynamic, more comfortable, and, above all, more inspiring.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
