Good morning, everyone and welcome to our Thanksgiving Assembly.<\/p>

As we gather for this assembly, I invite all of us to pause and reflect on something easily forgotten in our busy lives: the power of the little things.\u00a0 Of the small daily actions that may seem insignificant on the surface but are truly meaningful.<\/p>

Thanksgiving reminds us that gratitude isn\u2019t only about big achievements or major milestones. More often, it\u2019s found in the small, everyday moments that quietly shape our lives. The warm smile from a friend in the hallway. A teacher who takes an extra minute to explain something. A classmate who shares a laugh with you on a tough day. The encouragement of a parent, brother or sister, a caregiver, driver, or classmate. These simple gestures may seem small, but they make a world of difference.<\/p>

We are grateful for our students, whose small acts of kindness\u2014holding a door, helping a peer, offering a word of encouragement\u2014create the positive spirit that defines our school. You may not always realize it, but these moments matter.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We are grateful for our teachers and staff, who consistently go above and beyond in ways that often go unnoticed: a thoughtful lesson, a patient explanation, a reminder that someone believes in you. Those people receiving you day after day with a warm smile and gentle good morning.\u00a0 It\u2019s the accumulation of these little things that build confidence and helps students grow.<\/p>

We are grateful for our families, who support us every day in quiet, steady ways\u2014early-morning rides, packed lunches, reminders to keep trying, and the comforting presence that says, \u201cI\u2019m here for you.\u201d These small expressions of care are the foundation of every student\u2019s success.<\/p>

And we are grateful for our school community, where each small action contributes to something much bigger\u2014a place where respect, empathy, and gratitude are lived out daily.<\/p>

As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, let\u2019s remember that gratitude doesn\u2019t require grand gestures. It simply asks us to notice. To appreciate. To say \u201cthank you\u201d for the little things that often go unspoken but make our days brighter and our community stronger.<\/p>

May we continue to celebrate those moments, create more of them, and carry a spirit of gratitude with us throughout the year.<\/p>
