After a year of laying the terrace fallow, we were welcomed back to a vegetated terrace, with lots of grass binding the ground, a compacted soil structure, and a patch of overgrown citronella.

The students were duly assigned to specific jobs: digging the terrace, sifting stones, breaking up the soil structure and removing the citronella that was growing on the path and disturbing movement in the garden.

We also set out to collect used wood around the campus and build new terraces and fill them with earth.

The size of the terrace was slightly increased, with the elimination of plastic bottles and the old partitions that were placed to divide the terrace.

This process started in August and concluded in April 2022! A long year of work but something had to be done.
