We have started back in earnest, returning to a slightly overgrown hillside garden. Work continues on our three main construction projects: the first terrace, the stairway, and the path at the top of the garden linking the two water tanks and the compost areas.
All the students are continuing writing their monographs. Two chapters down, two more to go, an introduction and a glossary, a table of contents, a full reference list and they will be finished. There has been some exceptional written and physical work by students which was recognised in the semester awards for excellence and effort.
There were two awards for excellence. Federica Ortiz – 12th grade, and Valentina Perea – 11th grade.
The award for effort was rightly handed to Carolina Rojas who has worked tremendously hard whenever she has been in the garden and in the lab.
Well done to them and all the Agric Students
