Though a good deal of work was done early on to construct the staircase the agric students were all involved in digging out terrace #1 and constructing the stone wall. Now with smaller groups working on the terrace path and terrace #2, and with the addition of a saw, Laura, Manuela and Gabriel have secured the first step with wood and stakes. The space between the stakes and wood needed to be filled in with soil and compacted. They are going to continue with this, reusing wood that was salvaged to secure the entire staircase and avoid erosion of the steps and to provide a solid platform for moving to the top of the garden.
