The new infrastructure provides more suitable teaching and learning spaces, supports the development of our educational program and elective course offerings, and enables the exploration of a curriculum that promotes innovation and creativity. It is an integral component of the learning environment; its layout and design contribute to the educational experience of all members of our community.
Taking into account the needs of the educational program and the layout of the area, in July 2016 the School began the first phase of the Infrastructure Master Plan with the construction of the Sports Complex. The structural work for this three-level, 8,200-square-meter building is expected to be completed in approximately two (2) years. The Sports Complex consists of three modules. The first includes an arena with a main court, a gymnastics room, aerobics and fitness rooms, restrooms and locker rooms with lockers, auxiliary rooms, offices for teachers, a cafeteria, and storage areas. The other two modules will include two covered multi-purpose courts, semi-Olympic and learning pools, and parking areas.
Pool Area
This area began operations in August 2017; it includes the renovation of the existing pool, the construction of the learning pool, and improved locker room and restroom areas. It also features a pleasant terrace overlooking the sports fields. In February 2018, the Commemorative Inauguration Ceremony was held.
