Insurance

The school requires all foreign hire to be enrolled in a health plan. The school pays 100% of the following health care program: NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM – SURAMERICANA DE SEGUROS S.A. : The best health insurance plan in the country; it offers national-wide coverage, Assist Card services for emergencies when you travel abroad, and International Coverage for programmed procedures. It only requires a co-payment for outpatient services, including emergency room care, doctor’s visits, and lab tests. You will have 100% coverage of all expenses for treatments available, according to the health care booklet, in hospital, surgical services, and emergency care. The school will pay 100% of the premium.
