Forging the Future: 2024 National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

The National Honors Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) ceremony at Colegio Bolívar was held on Thursday, October 17th. In this ceremony students were recognized students were recognized for their outstanding achievement, qualities of good citizenship, service, leadership, and character, attitudes that have raised the name of the institution and its community.

Juniors and seniors who aspire to be members of the NHS must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.7, in addition to demonstrating qualities such as dedication to study, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. For this reason, members of the NHS are recognized for maintaining high academic and personal standards, which gives them prestige in universities around the world.

This year, the ceremony will feature Pilar Restrepo, class of 2003, as a guest speaker. Pilar has been a trendsetter through design, editorial and branding elements. She is co-founder of Grassfed Culture Hospitality Group and two prominent restaurants in Miami: Los Felix and Krüs Kitchen, which focus on sustainable gastronomy.
