Incorporating natural objects into children’s learning is essential for their cognitive development and emotional well-being. By touching, exploring, and manipulating these objects, they engage in hands-on experimentation, which fosters deeper understanding.

In addition, learning becomes more meaningful because it is based on real, tangible experiences. Incorporating natural objects into children’s learning not only helps them develop academic and motor skills, but also nurtures their creativity, emotional well-being, and environmental awareness. This approach connects them to the world around them, fostering holistic development that extends beyond traditional academics.
Tour and awareness of biodiversity

In this line, the children of Kinder 4 actively participated in a tour of the School’s campus, with the purpose of learning about the rich biodiversity that characterizes it. During this process, they became aware of the importance of caring for the natural environment, closely observing various species of plants and animals present in their daily environment. This experience allowed them not only to develop a sense of belonging to the school space, but also a deeper connection with nature and an understanding of the interdependence between living beings.
Art exhibition at the Sustainability and Biodiversity Festival
As a result of this observation and reflection, the Kinder 4 children captured their learning through drawings that represented the biodiversity observed during their tour. These drawings were proudly displayed during the School’s Sustainability and Biodiversity Festival, thus joining the collective call to raise awareness about the importance of caring for our biodiversity. By sharing their creations, the children not only demonstrated their understanding of the natural environment, but also became ambassadors for environmental protection, inspiring the educational community to reflect on the responsibility we all have towards caring for the planet.
