The Martin Felton Library aims to be the heart of Bolívar School. It is a space where the community can solve its information problems, access reliable sources, find resources for research, and receive the support necessary to carry out academic activities. More than just a physical space or a repository for books, the library is a place to encounter art, science, and culture.

Services
Library Classes and Traveling Library
Educators can design and schedule their classes with the support of librarians. We prepare curated bibliographic collections for inquiries and research, and we also bring our resources directly to classrooms to support students’ academic activities.
Exhibitions and Cultural Agenda
hroughout the year, the library hosts exhibitions on a variety of subjects, for which teachers can arrange guided tours with their classes. In addition, every quarter we offer artistic activities and cultural events related to the world of books and literature.
Database training
We make classroom visits to provide students with training in database management, with a special focus on EBSCOhost.
Interlibrary Agreement
We are members of the Banco de la República library network, which allows us to request books that are not available in our own collection.

Setas del Colegio Bolívar
Este libro es el resultado de varias caminatas por el campus del Colegio Bolívar de Cali y de la exposición Setas del Colegio Bolívar que se realizó en el salón Colgate en febrero del 2026. Nuestro colegio está ubicado en Pance, cerca de los Farallones, por lo que cuenta con un ecosistema privilegiado que reúne condiciones óptimas para el crecimiento de una amplia diversidad de setas silvestres.

Dawini Rengifo
Coordinator
He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in philosophy from the Universidad del Valle, with training in book restoration and conservation, and experience in teaching, research, and cultural management. He has worked in higher education institutions and schools in Cali, and currently serves as head of the Bolívar School Library, where he combines his philosophical training with the promotion of reading, critical thinking, and cultural dissemination among the educational community.
