Answers to the main questions that you, as a parent, may have regarding the ASOBOLIVAR Educational Fund.
1. What is the objective of this benefit?
Affiliation ensures the education of your child at Colegio Bolivar in the event of the death of the covered parent.
2. ¿Who can join the Fund?
The father, mother, both parents, or the person with legal custody of the student(s) of Colegio Bolívar can join the Fund, as long as they do not exceed the age of 75, are in good health, and there are no impediments with the current insurance company.
3. How can parents over 70 years of age or those with health impediments join?
In these exceptional situations, each case is studied with the insurance company.
4. How to join the Fund?
The ASOBOLÍVAR Fund entry request and health declaration must be completed when your child enters the school.
5. When is the contribution paid and when does the Fund coverage begin?
The contribution is part of the educational costs of Colegio Bolívar. Coverage begins once the parent/guardian is accepted in the Life Insurance Policy by the insurance company (according to the guidelines of the respective application) and the student is duly enrolled to start the school year. The Life Insurance Policy is annual.
6. What events does the Fund cover?
The events covered by the Fund are death due to natural or accidental causes and total and permanent disability. All of the above, according to the conditions specified in its regulations. It also provides assistance for serious illnesses and funeral assistance.
7. Who manages the ASOBOLIVAR fund?
The fund is administered by Colegio Bolivar with the support of the ASOBOLIVAR Commission, composed of a member of the Board of Directors, the Financial Management and Community Affairs directors of the school, the President of the Parents’ Association, and four parents, ratified by the Financial Committee. This commission ensures the proper management of the Fund, in accordance with its regulations.
