Middle School

Curricular Program

This academic section curricular program includes main subjects such as: English, Spanish, Science, Mathematics, Social Studies in English, Social Studies in Spanish, Physical Education, Ethics, ECAL, and Technology. Starting from Middle School our school offers electives and they are: Robotics, Performing Arts, Vocal, Art, Band, MUN, Leadership, Design Squad, Inventor’s Workshop, Sports and Fitness, Video Production and Post Production, which complement the curriculum, and help our students reach their utmost potential, supporting their individual talents and interests. Here are some explanations of each elective offered.

Leadership

Leadership class is an elective where students learn about leadership and what kind of leaders they are. This group helps to plan different events throughout the year.

Video Production and Post Production

Is an elective class where students are able to hone in on their video production skills. We know video is a media form growing at an exponential rate and this class allows students to experiment in making their own videos.

Performing Arts

Is a class that mixes dance, drama and presenting into one class

Vocal

Is an elective where students can practice singing in a group and on their own.

Band

Is an elective where students are able to play different instruments in groups and on their own.

Design Squad and Inventor’s Workshop

Design Squad and Inventor’s Workshop give students the opportunities to be engineers and create objects that serve a purpose.

Robotics and Programming

Is an elective course where students can learn about computer programming and how to make autonomous machines move.  This class is setting up students with a great foundation for future technologies.

Model United Nations (MUN)

Is a growing program in middle school, where students participate in different models, acting as countries debating important issues of our time.
